🛠 Tools 👇
A/B Test Calculator → A/B test calculator, pre-test and post-test.
One of the easiest mistakes to make when launching a test is not knowing whether this test will be statistically significant or not before launching it.
Big waste of time. This will help you launch the right test.
📚 Resources
I’ve read a lot on copywriting, but there are always 2 books I’d recommend more than anything else out there.
On writing well & Everybody writes.
Read these 2, and thank us later.
💡 Tip of the Week
I’ll leave Aurélia to make the tip this week. 😍
Product.
🛠 Tools 👇
Video Ask→ Asynchronous, interactive video to keep that human touch in every interaction.
It’s a face-to-face-like conversation with your users and is as simple as creating a TypeForm.
📚 Resources
Many claim to be data-driven, but most focus solely on revenue, a lagging indicator of past performance. By the time revenue drops, it's too late to take corrective action.
Listen to Elena; she knows better.
In her last newsletter, she writes about being really data-driven.
Her first recommendation is to start a Weekly Metrics Review meeting.
Here are the main takeaways, but you’ll find the link to the article below.
How to set up your Weekly Metrics Review
(a) All of the driver metrics that lead to revenue,
(b) voiced over by the key individuals who own them,
(c) every week
What, Who, and When?
What: The Driver Metrics
Revenue is a part of the equation, but it’s an output.
Examples of the driver metrics for self-serve: Prospecting visitors, sign-ups, activation, free-to-paid conversion, ARPA, churn by term…
Examples of the driver metrics for sales: Prospecting visitors, lead submissions, MQL, SQL…
Who: The key individuals that own them. They should
be across your entire organization.
have ownership over the driver metric and the related elements of the business.
understand how their metric fits into the whole ecosystem.
have a growth mindset.
When: Weekly Cycles.
I recommend that you schedule on Tuesdays, as this gives everyone Monday to debug what happened in the previous week and have most of the answers ready for the live meeting (avoiding lengthy follow-ups).
Mistakes to Avoid
Choosing the wrong metrics and not rectifying them.
Blaming the key individuals: they are coordinators.
These metrics should be pulled automatically.
Not having leadership buy-in.

🌈 Tip of the Week
This week, no tip but more of a personal note about June, also known as Pride Month.
Pride started as a riot against police brutality towards the LGBTQIA+ community.
It took place over several days in June 1969(Stonewall riots).
In the US, the purpose of this commemorative month is “to recognize the impact that LGBTQIA+ individuals have had on history locally, nationally, and internationally.”
But it also raises awareness of issues affecting the LGBTQIA+ community.
Over the past years, the tech industry has been trying to overcome the obstacles of discrimination.
Many tech organizations focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion, aiming to ensure equal opportunities for everyone. These resources and groups support LGBTQIA+ individuals and allies in their careers.
You can help by donating, raising awareness, and promoting these organizations.
1.Lesbians Who Tech & Allies: a community of LGBTQIA+ women, non-binary, and trans individuals in and around tech with 15,000 members (a simple fact: women only account for 1 in 5 people in STEM fields).
2. LGBT Tech: experts from various backgrounds who identify as members of the LGBTQIA+ community
3.myGwork: The Global Networking Hub and Job Board For LGBTQ+ Professionals & Students.
4.Out in tech: +50 000 members in 32 cities (London, Madrid, Boston, New York, Bangalore…)
5.TransTechSocial: an organization and training academy that provides education, support, and employment opportunities for transgender individuals facing workplace discrimination.
We’ll see you next week.
